Tell us what you're looking for
Register what you're after and we'll be in touch when something suitable comes to market. If it is your own home you are weighing up, the appraisal is free and the figure comes in writing with the comparable sales behind it.
What tax would you pay on one of these?
Scotland charges Land and Buildings Transaction Tax in bands, so the headline rate is never the rate on the whole price. A £300,000 home costs £4,600 in tax if you are moving home, and £4,000 if it is your first.
